Indian Ocean
i’m not lying folks. here’s my first blog from the heart of darkness….that being the studio in the dark dank corners of beautiful skid row in crappy downtown los angeles. at least our studio looks like a little island oasis thanks to the fake palm tree in the corner and funky ocean sunset wallpaper. this picture was taken at 3:38 this morning. it’s of rob eningeering mariqueen while she sings one of her parts in our next epic song “indian ocean”. it’s a dreamer man. check out the first line – I’ve been up all night wishing I was somewhere else haha it actually has nothing to do with being down here in the studio but in a way it’s a perfect description about being down here sometimes.

Love your sound guys. You’re going places. It’s important to me that you’re good because I have a very limited list of favorite musicians, most especially in the modern era. In the ’90s, I only liked Nirvana and the Verve. Then later in the ’90s and on into the 2000s, it was (is) the White Stripes. Come 2004, you’re my next addition.
Otherwise it’s the Beatles or Led Zeppelin or Cream or Bob Dylan, etc.
Not that this matters. But it’s a blog, I’m allowed to throw my two cents in. Thanks for being.

Eh, I don’t see why some random shot should have all these precautions. It’s just something to put on a blog. Are they freelance journalists? No.
They’re musicians.
Anyway, the photos are fine.
Personally I think the picture is pretty nice. I’m guessing these people who are complaining about the picture might want to turn up the brightness on their monitor and are probably upset that you didn’t turn the flash on so they could properly check out Mariqueen’s sweet assets. No offense.
