at 6pm before the show at the house of blues rob, mariqueen and i met up with brien terranova (from the label) to go do our first official radio station interview on FM 94.9 in san diego. not only did anya interview us but we got to play a couple songs – we played what are you afraid of and northern sky. rob played guitar, i played a moog and mariqueen sang. it was pretty tight but we made it work. ok, a few words about anya…she was rad, funny, and cute, not to mention an awesome interviewer. given the fact that this was our first time, anya really made us feel welcome, thanx anya. so…what started out as something with absolutely no expectations turned into something that was a ton of fun. we need to go back there anyway because i was looking forward to meeting halloran just cos he’s a legend as well as meeting midori who plays us a lot on her big sonic chill show (i hope you like the candles we left you midori). we got to do some promo spots for her show as well as for the station. anyway, thanx for all the love 94.9! you guys can take the credit that you educated the masses first. we owe ya one—F.TEN
