Get Ready Los Angeles
we have a great show planned for this friday at the troubadour. check it out if you can make it. and once again – our guest list is already past capacity. i can’t get anyone else in….full, finished, no can do, out of my control, sorry, try next time. we’re even buying a few tickets for some of the people that need to get in, that’s how full it is. bottom line…support your local artist – spend the 10 bucks and just pretend you bought a drink with it…rationalize…or you can look at it this way, you paid 2 bucks per band to see an amazing night of music. that’s the real steal. see you at the show and say hi. we go on at 11 but vela starts the show and i love them
is this flyer great or what? jonathan from vela made it. — F. TEN 7:09pm
MR AD,MF – can’t wait to hang! gotta go to san fran now – talk to you in a couple days. — F. Ten
Hey its Afrakkah-Dukkah shouting atcha, gearing up for Chop Suey!!!!
Any chance your call to bootleggers could include a call to videographers? Perhaps I could burn you some footage that you could then splice into some of your many music videos to come. (I hear you about Hollywood being maybe a better video song– but if you’re planning your videos long-term, I think “What Are You Afraid Of?” is a great first glimpse at the band– it encompasses many different sides of WIG. Hollywood might be more of a hit, and I love it, but maybe if I had heard it on KEXP instead of “Afraid of” I might not have immediately run out to the store to buy the album? Afrakkah never knows.
Maybe I can show you how I play “Dream?” though I might be too nervous. I was thinking about learning “Green” because that’s my new favorite (you can tell its a worthy album when your favorite track keeps changing) and I see that Green is on your set list. Frakkah-Approval.
One of my all-time top moments on the album is the break-down on “What are you afraid of?” so I can’t wait CAN’T WAIT to get emmersed in the extended dream sequence jam. 15 minutes? That’s what I’m talking about. Frakkah-Dukkalicious.
Thanks for the insight on you songwriting process for “I Hope” keep it up and I hope to hear that at your TOUR FINALE!!! at the one and only Chop Suey up in the freakuh-frakkah neck o’the woods.
Mr. Afrakkah-Dukkah, M.F.
I like seeing your show flyers…is there any way you could post them when available in your show reports?
